To demonstrate the analysis in a single piece, an interactive board was imagined, as a sort of game where the pieces with the colored water recipients could be manipulated along with different light sources, surfaces and moving mechanisms. While sketching and building prototypes, the notion
of a canvas stroke back, now embodied with other perspective. Recollecting the Action Painting reference, a structure was envisioned where a blank canvas screens
the action below, drawn up by the projection of the colored water contained in the glass discs, presenting several textures given by different sharpness, sizes and
the overlaying of tones. However, the result can only be fulfilled if the pieces are unstable, thus from that comes the unpredictable patterns from the water/light webs. Once this holy canvas showed a satisfying outcome, one issue couldn’t be silenced: extending this canvas
to the whole, and not having as screen only the top of the construction but also its side views. With the use of crystal balls along with the discs, the Transcanvas incorporated the necessary configuration for its function of an elaborated system inducing unexpected subtle
figures out of unpredictable tenuous stimuli. Color doesn’t manifest it self if not through a body of resources activated by the viewer. Hopefully it embraces the ones impelling it.
